Tracey Whitney will be joining pianist Jim Ahrend's trio as the guest soloist for the evening. Faith, Hope and Jazz! is a weekly experiment in jazz worship and community experience, sponsored by Monte Vista Church.
Join us for one of our most popular events of the summer! Curated by vocalist Patty Stephens, this evening promises to be a beautiful night of music and song. With an incredible line-up of some of New Mexico's finest musicians, be sure and buy your tickets early for this great show!
Featuring Zenobia, Tracey Whitney, Patty Stephens and Jenny Bird accompanied by Glenn Kostur (saxophone), Cesar Bauvallet (trombone, percussion), Sid Fendley (piano), Mickey Patton (bass), and Andrew Poling (drums).
As much as she enjoys recording, Tracey Whitney's heart still belongs to the stage! Recently relocated from Los Angeles to Albuquerque, Tracey teams with some of New Mexico's premier musicians to bring live performances (which can be tailored to fit any occasion - duet with piano, three-piece backing combo, or full-on band) that will take you on a musical journey of jazz standards, soul and pop classics, and selections from her two solo CD's. She is available for performances throughout the greater Albuquerque/Santa Fe regions, and as lead or support for national and international tours.
